Mother is the most influential factor for Christian formation in the family. So we try to organize the catholic mothers of our Archdiocese with an objective of their integral development. As a part of this attempt we formed an organization of the catholic mothers called “Mathruvedi” in our Archdiocese. At present we have 158 units. It is organized in the Archdiocesan, forane and parish levels. For them we impart Christian leadership training, personality development programmes, faith orientation seminar, retreats, art and literary festivals and workshops on parish, forane and Archdiocesan levels.
